Trot line set

Wild ride in the set. River was out of the banks, engine stalled going up river, lightning storm came, but most importantly I got the line set! Will let y'all fellas know in the morning.

Was really surprised to pull in the big blue being I wasn't using live bait last night. Ended up catching 4 turned one loose that looked like he had the mange, haha. The heavy current last night pushed my anchor under some rocks and I broke it off with three hooks still down there. I sure hope there wasn't anything on them.

Weighed the blue it was 9lbs. I thought he would have weighed more. Still made some real fine fillets.

Man, great thread. I grew up right on the Guadalupe river in Texas, we set lines every summer. Sure miss it, damn.
