A U.S. Court of Appeals on Friday blocked an effort by Alabama, Georgia and Kansas for voters to furnish proof of citizenship when registering at the polls, which opponents say disenfranchises voters, especially minorities. The decision effectively strikes down a rule that requires voters in the three states to provide proof they are United States citizens

That's ludicrous. Lib judges in DC district court. I have to prove I'm a us citizen to get a job, why wouldn't that same requirement hold for something as important as voting

Wish we could get INS to walk the ballot lines

Especially in the large cities. This is a blatant attempt for the Democrats to drum up support for their voters! I believe they're desperate for votes and the Republican party better have some officials of the polling station's watched for discrepancies in counts.

So should people need to take the Birth Certificate to vote?

I think I'd have to agree with this one. So if you are a good ole American looking person you can vote with a license, but if you "look" like a minority you have to bring additional papers to vote?
