Ukraine’s choice in new service rifle sends a clear message?

I get so tired of hearing this. You do realize that there are in fact milled AK receivers? The first 3 types are milled. The reason they went to stamped steel was a quicker and cheaper way to mass produce.

I believe the reason everyone is following suit into the AR world is the Dumbing down of the Masses (People) and the over saturation of junk parts every tom, dick and harry wants/can produce.

Any idiot with a roofing hammer, one of thousands barrel wrenches available, a set of harbor freight punches and a cheap vise can assemble one while following instructions given by Bubba on youtube.
I believe Type 1 AK receivers were stamped not milled......just saying. :boink:

BUT....I do love the milled AKs.....and the stamped AKMs

I would take an AK in x39 over an AR in x39. When I shoot 7.62x39 I want it coming out of a communist hammer forged barreled AK, anything else seems like sacrilege.

I stand corrected... 2 out of 3 isn't bad :becky:.

I agree with you on the CHF barrels. There's only one AK I own that doesn't have one and it was due to concentric concerns as it's a host. As a matter of fact all of my rifles have CHF barrels, even the AR's.
