I bought 3 pistols back way when, when you could buy firearms from EBay. Turns out one of them was used in a murder in the 1980's and the guy who I sold it to, turned and sold it to a convicted felon where it was subsiquintly found during a traffic stop. I recieved a call from the DA where it was located, answered a few questions (honestly), no Bill of Sell, never heard another word from them..... You'll be fine. Just tell the truth.

By the way, I still do not ask for nor require a bill is sell!

I had one of my guns turn up as stolen from a pawn shop in Rockdale County. It is a Ruger SP-101 in 22lr...6 shot cylinder. I won't be getting that one back unfortunately. :-(

Trade for 220, claim it was stolen, get original 1911 back in process. Or do I think the worst of people?
