Well worn or beat up firearms pic thread

Just wondered, while hunting in cold weather if you kept your rifle in the cold to keep the scope from fogging up? I've never had a problem, but I doubt I've hunted in those temps. I think 13 degrees is about the coldest for me. Working is another story. Also, do you use special lube for cold temps?

I got done to 8 degrees F, IIRC. I didn't use a special lube, just the standard grease that I mix up myself. Never had an issue with Nightforce scopes fogging up in any weather.

Got this one brand new when I was about 13 or 14. I am 48 now for reference. My dad had given me a used Remington 742 Woodmaster. Told him I wanted a shotgun. We walked in gun store and I saw this sucker and wanted it. He said up to you son! They traded straight up! Which they were definitely in the positive! Haha. LOTS of great memories with this one!
