What are you guys using on the armadillos?

Minimum caliber necessary less than 100yds? I've read .22 can skip off the shell. I'm seeing more and more of these little critters and it's about time to pop some caps.

I shot one once with a 300 win mag. Actually had to finish it off with a glock 9mm The 300 ripped half its back off at around 250 yards and it was still moving. Had to shoot it twice with the 9mm as well.
