What firearm was your biggest disappointment?

Any 1911. I've tried Colts, Dan Wessons, Kimbers, RIAs, and Sigs. I just don't get the hype.

Find one you like. It's holding a piece of American history in your hand. Best I've every owned was a Metro Arms American Classic II. Inexpensive and smooth as butter.

That's a trip, never heard that before. I'll be glad to take it off your hands for the right price. We were out at Survivor Johnny's this weekend plinking a bowling pin at about 120 yards with every shot. Are you sure it aint the shooter?

Just something about it that doesn't work for me

I took a friend of my son with us shooting one time and he had never shot a gun before ever

He was much better than me
He was amazing with the 10-22
Tried to talk his parents into getting him some lessons from a real instructor and into a competition

I have sarcoidosis. Which makes my hands shake a little
And has made my lungs stiff with scar tissue
And I also have asthma which makes me breathe a lot harder and more often

It has no noticeable affect with my AR.
But I think somehow with the 10-22 is does. It just waves all over the place. I can't hold it still

I got one because everyone loves em. But I can't hit squat with it

I can do almost as good with a MK 3 as I can with the 10-22.

I think it's the stock or the balance or something
Has the factory plastic stock. with Stainless

I just acquired some .22 ammo from another member
So maybe in a couple weeks I will be able to try again

I wanna get a .22 conversion for my AR and see how that does

Both were comfy to hold and reliable - but the triggers were just awful.

Ruger LC 9.... total waste of money, uncomfortable ,unbalanced,sh@t for a trigger,traded it for a gen 3 g19 Glock.......happy happy
