whats your fail zero rifle?

I am considering taking the 1-4 scope off the fal. I think sometimes less is better. The less you have to worry about failing the better. As far as pistols go, my usp 45 eats anything, never ever ever a malfunction not even on test loads that my 1911's wouldn't cycle properly whether the powder was on the low or high side, but I have alot of confidence in my range officer as well.

I guess I've been lucky. My G19 has at least 8k through it. The slide stop came out, and got lost in the woods once, so one complete failure and none since.

I have a Colt 6920 with about 2k through it. No failures and hardly no cleaning, just a little oil on the bcg every so often.

I have a Franken AR, DTI lower the upper may be DD, but idk. 3k+ through it, 75% steel case, and no problems.

Both my 10-22s and my Marlin 795 have a ton of rounds through them and nothing either. I did let my CMMG .22 upper get so dirty it started having lots of problems, but it took over a year and 4 appleseed events before I started seeing problems.

Most won't believe it but my 7.5" barreled SBR is at around 1000 rounds off and on over about a year in hot and cold weather (hunting) without a single issue. It shoots dirty, it shoots wet and even after being drug around in my backpack for weeks at a time. I just pull it out and let it rip. It's just a really well built/adjusted AR.

I believe it. The AR gets a bum rap. I treat the two I shoot a lot like crap. They get wet and sandy, dirty, hardly any cleaning, and they both run like champs.
