My photo skills aren't the greatest, but those pvs14's are minty
 
I almost never use my reticle illumination there because I get exactly what you are seeing. Maybe It was better in real life. Still prefer non illuminated reticle under NV.
1 mile at night is impressive regardless, well done.

I found my lowest setting was easy to pick up on. Just a gentle glow giving some contrast. I imagine the super brightness is a result of the tacticam. Also, keep in mind he is using factory 140gr Hornady. ReservoirDawg10 ReservoirDawg10 and myself were using handloads and were smacking the plates with much more regularity. Things still get squirrely past 1200 though.
