Who here drives a BMW?

BMW stands for bring my wallet.. nice car though

I thought it was Breaks Most Wallets...but as said, they are nice cars. The owner of the firm I work for is a staunch BMW owner...he's driven a 5-series for at least the 12 years I have known him. He had a black 530, and silver 530, and now has a new midnight blue 535...I guess that's what he likes, and the maintenance costs don't seem to bother him in the least.

I really don't understand people *****ing about BMW service prices; If you have a tool box and have the ability to watch some you-tube videos, you can avoid most of this

It's really not that complicated; Yes, even on-line parts may cost a little more, but, if you are not capable of turning a wrench and just want to take it to a mechanic to do your most basic services, this brand is not for you...

Big BMW guy right here...Sometimes I have a hard time trying to decide what to put my money into; my BMWs or more guns:rolleyes:. Anyhow, Right now in the stable is a 2004 X3 3.0i 6 speed with 39,000 miles, a 2001 540i Sport 6 speed, and my pride and joy 1987 320i. I brought the 3er with me from Germany, I swapped in an M30 3.5L out of an older 5 series in it. It now has 230ish hp, 230+ TQ, and weighs 2700 pounds. Nothing like a light RWD BMW to put a smile on your face!!!

I drive both Mercedes and BMW. 2007 CLK350 cabriolet & BMW 530i 2003. Love both can drive the BMW much harder, in this case the clk is much simpler. Its also newer with less miles and features.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1375835821.421395.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1375835848.471000.jpg

Many people ***** about cost of things but I figured it up this way: the oil changes cost more. Yes. Why? Cause you can go 15,000 miles between them. My Chevy equinox would go 3,000. This was reason enough for me to switch. Also my friend is a BMW tech, so I got the hook up. He is the reason I chose BMW. He was also the one who kept my equinox running as long as it did
