Pretty sure you can still remove it from the registry. Mine is engraved and I could remove it if I decided to sell and the buyer did not want it as a SBR.

I think it could be removed from the registry if he wanted to, but I think there's a certain advantage to being a factory SBR. I like the idea of it not being engraved with information specific to the original owner. If I were the seller, I'd sell it as a registered lower. Some buyers might see value in just buying it as is without having to engrave and Form 1 a lower, especially someone who doesn't have an SBR lower already. It's really a moot point since the OP is looking to sell it as a complete gun.
