I'm grabbing a Marlin Model 81 (bolt action 22lr) and a S&W 686 .357 magnum and heading for the mountains. Both guns are very reliable and simple and easy to maintain. The 22lr will keep me food and my gut, and the 357 can take down just about any threat Georgia has to offer.

My ruger sr22 and ammo lives in my BOB as well as a fair amount of 5.56, so I'd grab my AR and BOB and keep my ccw where it belongs.
