Yugo M57 without safety, where do i get one?

Looking for a Yugo M57 (not Zastava) without the safety in 7.62x25. I can find only the safety models. Also anyone know the deal with the ammo. Is it not being imported anymore? Pistol doesn't have to be in great shape just good working order. Thanks

If it's a Yugo M57, it's a Zastava. M57 is a Zastava designation, and Zastava is a Serbian (former Yugoslavian) company. They make them with and without the thumb safeties.

That's the real trick, isn't it? I'll keep my eyes open, but all the ones I've seen lately from the usual shops have a thumb safety. I just ordered an M70A (9mm version of this gun) and I should be taking possession of it here in the next couple of days.

From what I understand, they are out there, but collectors are turning them into safequeens. And I fear if I do fine one it will be $$$$, so I might get save for an hk45. Why is everything I want is about 1k and up?
