    that why i said hopefully. the rebate form just says model 12 and it is a model 12 . even at 419 i will be happy. On savages site it doesnt specifically say 12 fv. the rebate form linked from cabela is kinda vague.

    Just a heads up Cabelas has the savage 12 FV on sale for $419 and savage has a 100 rebate looks like on model 12's till june. 4 calibers to choose from. I picked one up in .223 . hopefully i get the rebate. $319 would be a absolute steal...

    i have a 50, i do not have any AP at the moment. I also have some 30 cal. AP pulls loaded up in some 300 ultra mag. I am sure somewhere in atlanta has some 50 AP.

    I have the threaded barrel one and i like it works better than my mosquito that it replaced. I have had no issues even with the subsonic rounds .

    Question about accutrigger and identify this heavy stock on my Tactical savage .308

    the trigger should not drop the hammer unless the middle blade is depressed. as far as the stock i dont have any quesses.

    Picked up a Ft. Daniel Lower in OD Cerakote

    Just picked it up today. Couldn't be happier with it turned out great. Really liking the POF trigger in it. I have my 300 Daniel Defense BO upper on it for now. Thanks Nate first class customer service as always.

    I would be using anything with a Barnes bullet. then get as heavy a bullet as your gun will shoot. just don't use a varmit bullet and shot placement is critical.

    Do you guys have the 1st gen or the new 2nd? I tried that i CLP'd the crap out of them. and still no go. i have hand cycled the things 100's of times. I will be sending mine back for a check up. So far they seem ok to deal with. Just sucks eating $20-30 for shipping.
