That sucks!
I always hated find a nice buck like this. Year's ago I found a massive 8 pointer that had been killed and the hunter didn't find, but was ate up with maggots and I didn't want to touch it, what a waist !

Nope. Found this about a 1000 yds in the opposite direction from where we lost the blood trail on that one and I'm pretty sure the other one was a bit bigger.
