22 LR availability

I was looking on the ammo section and saw that some of the prices were still up there. Is it still hard to find it?

Not sure but I was in Walmart on Tuesday and they had a few boxes of CCI on the shelf.

Still pretty scarce up here in the mountains, unless you are retired and sit at walmart, buy it, then watch it rot at the flea market as you try to flip it, lol.

Academy and Gander Mt have stacks of it on display. Pre scare prices, as well.

guess it depends on where you live and shop.
I can find about any brand that I want easily around here Henry/Fayette county.
its usually in the 6-7 cents per round price.
no limit on amount either.

95% of the time I shoot match and Target grade. There was never a shortage on good ammo.

I just buy online. IMO, the run on bulk 22LR is basically over at this point.

Well that's what I kinda thought. I was in Mississippi for a few months this summer and there were literally tons of it. They had about 200 bricks of various manufacture for 28.00 per 500 with no limit. I hadn't seen that much 22 in years! They also had tons of 22mag.
I haven't seen that much around here in Dublin. I usually have to pick it up in Warner Robins when I'm there.

USA Gun and Pawn on Hwy.92 just west of Bells Ferry has tons and tons of 22 ammo. It's Aquila but it's there and in truck loads and in every projectile choice.

That place is overpriced on EVERYTHING. I would imagine that holds true with this 22lr.
