I've come to the conclusion that the best hog rifle is simply the one that hits them in the head. Anything else produces results too inconsistent or requires too much recoil to produce consistent results that don't involve the head. So...yes.

It looks pretty good but like the 6.5 Grendel Magpul won't be making AR15 pattern mags for it. That is a deal breaker for me.

I realize what it was designed for, but personally, I think this would make an awesome bolt gun caliber.

I wonder how difficult it would be to take an existing .223 bolt rifle, re-chamber it to take this round and open up the bolt face to accept the case?

It would but to me a bolt gun is a bolt gun and my main attraction to it is 6.5 performance out of a lighter AR15 platform for the gas gun series.
