Could it be a failing fuel pump? Does it occur when using both tanks or just one?

I currently have the bed off of the truck. So l was hoping to get everything taken care of while it's apart.

One other thing about those valves, there is also mechanism to switch the pumps and sending units in them. Only one pump at a time should be energized.

It is worth looking, esp if the bed is off.

I had a 96 F250 5.8l with similar issues. Mine had very little power also. Ran a fuel pressure test and found one pump @20psi and the other even lower. Replaced both pumps and issues resolved.

I've been crawling around under mine and can't find one. Does this video look right? Mine goes from the filter then rolls up to the rear of the motor
