Thanks, looks like 1992? The dive shops I have been to wont test aluminum or steel over 5 years. (15 years for composite)

Bumping this old thread with new info. In the 2019-2020 hunting season, air rifles or other airguns with a bore .30 or larger will be LEGAL for hunting big game, but only during the blackpowder and bow seasons.
This is a one-season-only experiment, and the new law's provisions allowing for airgun hunting will expire / sunset in July of 2020 unless the D.N.R. recommends to the Legislature that it be renewed.
SB72 was passed by both chambers and was in fact signed by Gov. Kemp this spring.
