Anyone else get their property tax statement today?

They don't, or at least didn't, here at that time.
It is theft.
If you can’t hold it in your hand, you don’t own it.
Purchase, pay the tax at purchase, then continue to pay the ever increasing tax every year for the remainder of your life, or have the property forcefully taken from you.
Property tax is the greatest theft of all, IMO.
Of course this is “their” end goal. No citizen subject owning private property.
This is just the beginning.
The biggest inconsistency, from county to county, is the school tax.
That is over 75% of taxes paid.
Many let you opt out at 65,
If you don't have a large city hub in your county, its 71 to 75.
Here in Hall, it's 71.

I don't have kids and I hate being forced to pay the education tax, especially given the product be produced.
Dumpish too..grew up in Cobb..SAD.
THEY WILL GET IT ALL IN THE END....THE END IS NEAR FOR PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OF LAND.
Gotta pay for all the demogrants coming in, I suppose...
I agree and when I appealed my taxes I told them so. I said that I wouldn't mind paying school taxes quite so much if they were actually educating kids but that was obviously not the case and I resented having to pay for what they try to call an education.
