Best Glock subcompact for EDC

I've grown to love Glocks. It's now becoming an obsession. Lately, I've been carrying my G26 for edc. Now I want to start carrying something more powerful. I'm trying to decide between the 27, 30, or 36. I've always felt that .40's snap a bit much, but it's still quite powerful and I could use all of my existing holsters. But a .45 has some nice knock down force. Anyone have an opinion on which one of these I should choose from???

G29 because anything less is ineffective for self defense.

If a Glock 19 is a possible answer, a Glock 19 is the answer.

G29 gets an honoroable mention because 10mm is the best mm.

For same size the G 27 offers the best options. Starting with 40 S&W and drop in conversion to 357 Sig and barrel/mag 9mm conversion. Starting with 357 forces you to either buy a conversion fast or hunt for the harder to find and more expensive ammo.

If a larger platform is acceptable then the g30s is optimum. This is the smallest 45 acp Glock has to offer that can hold double stack mags. You can use the standard 9-10 round mags or the G21 mags. You can also convert to 10mm nd use either G29 or G2 mags.

Never buy a Glock in 357SIG unless you Know that you specifically want 357.

ive carried a g30sf IWB for years. cant beat the capacity you get (10+1) for the compact size.

This is mine! All around great round. Not "snappy" with practice and can be converted to 9mm or .357sig with a barrel swap and mags. Very accurate and controllable!
