Did anyone mention clove oil & qtips. It's also called clove leaf oil.
I remember when grocery stores had a salt box. They kept pork boiling meat in salt. You'd boil your peas & other veggies with boiling meat to make them get ate down to the last pea. Was about 400 pounds of salt in the salt box and it was coarse salt not table salt.
Eggs were in a wire basket unrefrigerated because they were fresh.
And the butcher was missing part of two fingers. But I didn't know you can salt deer meat.
