Biggest and Most Common Blunders Made by Preppers

My buddy catches about 6 rainbows out of the Etowah every weekend.
He throws most of them Back cause his freezer is full of them.
I can’t eat fish otherwise I’d be all over them.
depending on the size of the freezer , that's a lot of fish.
He better be eating them before they get freezer burn.

This is a good question? Anyone?
The survival of the group doesn't mean everyone has to be a good Hunter, just think of what would have happened on Gilligan's Island if the professor wasn't around. Even nerds will have a place in a total apocalypse. All kidding aside there are quite a few guys on here that are very handy with cocktail napkin engineering. A little bit of basic knowledge in a variety of fields will make you a better chance of being a survivor then specialising in the single field

Is that a yes..or a no?

I told you I knew how to make a pump would I be more valuable for you or for me if it came time to having to make a pump
Right now could possibly hold the most value..considering nothing may ever happen...lots of folks rich off of solid ideas

Speaking totally hypothetical, in the end of times who are we supposed to take care of? I have heard everything from individual, to extended families to creating a tribe ... what God wants us to do and what we want to do maybe two different things. For myself right now there is absolutely no way on Earth I wouldn't trust my extended family to accomplish anything other than diminishing resources. I have seen this happen in less than a apocalyptic scenarios already and in a group situation trust is a mitigating Factor.
That is actually very painful to say or even think about.
I pray that time Never Comes where I am given the choice between the two, opening the door, or bolting that thing shut. My first reaction is a human being is to tell them I told you so and then shut the door and be done with it.
I have friends that are absolutely 100% bat$#!+ crazy but what I can count on from them as they've got my back and I've got theirs. Survival can be a selfish thing.

About 30 years ago my father in law got tired of fillings falling out of his teeth and teeth breaking. He found a discount dental office that only did dentures. He went to his old dentist to have his old teeth extracted, but walked out when he found it was going to be $75 for each tooth that was extracted. He went out into his shop that evening, sat in a recliner, and with the help from a mirror and a set of Robo Grips extracted all of his teeth. The next day when I found out what he had done I asked him how bad it hurt. He said, “it didn’t hurt $75 a tooth worth”. He was a lot tougher than I am.
