I have a savage fvrs and while the reciever looks like a piece of plumbing pipe, it's pretty accurate. The hawks around me are happy about the hundred or so free meals they've enjoyed so at least someone is a fan.

I guess it depends on what your main goal is. If hitting an 8 inch target at 25 yards feels like good accuracy and will suffice, then great. Put all your rubber o rings on it and have fun.

Yeah for as light as it is, it’s awesome. I’ve shot consistently submoa at 50. Haven’t taken past that.

Love my ruger American. With the Dobbs 22 can and 1000 fps ammo, all you hear is the click of the firing pin. Plus it takes 10/22 mags. Great plinker.
