The PM's and the notes with meeting dates, times, and phone numbers should be sufficient, plus I will not ever be leaving any of my firearms at any pawn shop.

Because people are ignorant of what is necessary for a legal gun sale/trade in Georgia and a BOS gives them a warm fuzzy.

You could just as easily replace "BOS" with "GA Drivers License and GWP" and still be 100% correct. Many here that poo-poo the BOS will state they must see a GA Drivers License and/or GWP to complete the deal. Neither are a requirement for a private party to lawfully complete a gun trade/sale in Georgia.
