Can I carry a firearm into South Carolina?

Heading to Hilton Head this weekend and was wondering if anyone knew about having a firearm with them while traveling there...

You can bring one with you (with stipulations), but you can't carry without a SC permit.

SC doesn't recognize our carry permit, so carry is out. I'm not sure on the stipulations on posession though.

oh boy....google SC gun laws youd be better staying in GA.....they are our only neighboring state that dont accept our permits if that tells you anything.... so in return GA doesnt accept thiers either!

I'm leavin tomarrow for Charleston. I'm Kinda wonderin this same question. I know I can't carry
Concealed but what about having one or two in the vehicle while I travel??

Can you carry in SC yes you can. Just do not get caught without a SC firearm license
