CCW at The Alamo Steakhouse

I've never had a problem with places with no gun signs. I never taught my guns to read........just saying

Finally can carry in a casino?
Little known secret....Open carry is allowed per Nevada's Constitution. Always has been. So open carry inside a casino IS legal. Mind, the can, and probably will, ask you to leave weapon with security or leave the property.
Concealed carry is also legal. With proper CCW. Back when, I concealed carried to work in a major stirp casino.
Nevada has good, almost great, gun laws.

So we went to The Alamo Steakhouse in Pigeon Forge Friday, walked up and the sign says No Firearms. I looked at my wife I was carrying a Sig P938 on my side and she was carrying a Glock 43 in her purse. She said worst case we would be asked to leave and/or free steak. We ate dinner, she had a Filet and grilled shrimp, and I had a Ribeye. The meals were amazing. Great all around evening. What makes these places do this? My honest opinion is they are taking full responsibility for your safety if they don't allow a legal citizen to full fill their 2nd amendment right. Oh yeah we did have to pay. How do you folks feel?

Not just how I feel, how I respond:
1. Ask the hostess if the manager or owner is available
2. When he/she comes to the hostess station I explain how many good things the wife and I have heard about their establishment and how we have made plans to visit
3. Point out the sign
4. Make it clear that we will not be staying for that reason and that I will be sharing their policy with as many people as possible
5. Thank them for their time and find another place to eat. There are many 2A friendly restaurants in Pigeon Forge with equally fine food and service.

This approach can be non-confrontational while sending a clear message.

If you are shot and/or traumatised during a shooting and survive, can you sue the owner for not adequately protecting you in a gun free Zone.

Tenn. supposedly passed this law. The law was to make the establishment responsible for your personal safety if they forbid firearms on the premises.

I'd say it's worth Pursuing while you're laid up in the hospital on your morphine drip hitting on cute nurses. Plenty of google time awaits whilst recovering from a GSW
