Cleaning old-ish poorly stored Ammo

A friend gave me about 750 rounds of 223 that were salt water exposed from hurricane flood water. It was corroded however I tumbled it in Lyman media and wiped with micro fiber cloth. Out of the 750 only two did not go bang.

I only have a wet drum tumbler that I use for baffles. It works with dry media, but you can only do a small amount at a time.
I tried walnut shells and rice. Basmati rice, as its smaller and a bit more harder than plain white rice. Results were better than I thought. The walnut shells left a lot of dust and a build up on the lead, the rice did the same as far as build up, just not as bad. Let them run for 1hr. Then wiped em down. 434F00BB-7075-4D5E-BF51-71ED3B241BF5.jpeg
