I would think resale value goes to the Colt but for a shooter and accuracy SA would probably get the nod.

Not to start a pissing match over it, I've never owned a Brown, I have however handled a couple of them and owned a Nighthawk and Wilson Combat that are very comparable to the Browns. I don't see the difference in quality or accuracy for price difference. But that's just my opinion, someone who's been a machinist and engineering tech.

I looked at two Les Baer pistols last week at Alexander's. One was the Thunder Ranch and the other was a longslide 10mm with full dustcover. Man I really wanted that 10mm but I'm too cheap to fork over the $2,900. Both were the tightest fitting 1911s I have ever drooled on...
