So you think there is a chance? Cause the Tac-Ops looks just like the Scorpion just colored differently.
There's always a chance. Best case - you drop it in and it functions perfect or close to it. Worst case - you drop it in and the gun won't cycle and you end up like me and have it fitted and then in runs perfect
Alright school me here, if it has to be "fitted" what does a gunsmith do? Do they machine the barrel or something or how does that work?
Usually requires some stoning the hood and the lugs on the barrel in order to achieve a good, solid mate to the slide. All done by hand and very time consuming.

+1 in addition, a lathe may used to shorten or modify the hood and a lug cutter and/or fixture will be required.
