Alumahyde II, about 3 years old, holding up real well. Secret is prep and baked it at 140 degrees for 48 hours afterward.

Alumahyde II but not baked. It takes 2 to 3 weeks to fully air cure. Baked does not improve the quality of the paint, it just speeds up cure. It is an epoxy so the cure is chemical and not heat related. As stated, prep is critical. It also helps to heat the parts with a hairdryer before spraying.

Note: the Alumahyde has a little texture to it and is fairly thick.
