Does anyone really give a rip about bump-stocks being banned?

The point is if they can ban bump stock they can ban anything they want to old saying can’t remember it but went something like
First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

So to me the meaning of this is while I may not care about bump stocks if I sit back and I don’t say anything about it then when they come for my semi automatic there’s not gonna be any gun owners left to care

It's an illegal overreach of power. Not a fan of bumpstocks. Seem silly to me. But, still a dangerous overreach. You give gov an inch they will take a mile. Next will be high capacity mags. Maybe even scary looking black rifles. Ignore or be apathetic at your own peril.
