Hog hunting. I've done some of that and have seen most hogs at night or right around sunset. Do you plan on hunting them at night?
I personally don't like the fixed front sight post for this purpose. It's already hard enough to see your sights at night so I'd go with a gas block set-up and throw some optics on there. My next move would be rails so I can attach a Hog Snyper red light. That's just personal preference though.
