If it's not in the Bound Book no ffl required, but if the firearm in question is at his ffl location without being in the Bound Book would raise questions. Unless his ffl location is at his home. A lot of what if's here.

There's plenty of real BATFE agents here. We don't need all the wannabes.Seems we have a ton of wanna be lawyers and atf agents.. practicing law with only the degree of being a nosey wannabe.
ATF has an office in Macon, or used to. Give 'em a call.NO, LMAO. Because I’m trying to be FFL dealer very soon, and i was wondering if i can still buy&sell&trade my surplus collection without involving 4473.
My neighbor is one and he is cool. There's plenty of real BATFE agents here. We don't need all the wannabes.
MaybeWhy would you care what the FFL does with his property? He should be able to sell firearms without any license.
you looking to be a good citizen and snitch him out to the government?
Thanks for making me laugh, I needed that.
Every flea market in the South has a least one booth where some guy is selling guns, and has been doing so for years. That is where you are wrong. At some point the ATF will decide you are dealing without a license and bring in a felon to buy a gun from you. Then you are screwed. Totally at the whim of the ATF.
