Going to a gunshow tomorrow - looking at ammo

Buy it online and save your gas and 10 dollar entrance fee. A lot of show prices are not competitive with online pricing.

They don't compete with Wal-Mart pricing either.

I'm going to a gun show tomorrow for the first time in awhile. Only thing I have in mind is ammo. I've seen name brand, brass cased 9mm for around $170 per thousand and 5.56/.223 name brand for around $300 per thousand. Anyone have a lead on any better deals than that? I'm not talking about steel cased 3rd world stuff but Remiington, Federal or CCI equivalent ammo. (The prices I listed are before tax but free shipping.)

Going to the Marietta show. I'm not going because I think it's the best way to go for ammo. But if by chance there is a deal, then I'm going to jump on it.

Besides most of the ammo guys that set up at gun shows have their pricing stuck in 2013 during "The great neck beard panic." You still see $70 bricks of 22 long rifle. LOL.

The only deals i have seen on ammo at a guns how within the last year was for 325rd box of 22lr for $15. Everything else i could buy online cheaper with shipping

It will be interesting. I bet I haven't bought anything at a show in 10 years.

I think you are correct. Looks like it's a week away.
