How do you calibrate a trigger pull gauge?

Friends who use the gauges for competitions say the Spring Gauge accuracy can vary depending on temperature and humidity and suggest something like this to be more accurate:

That looks nice! It also looks to be, probably, one of the most accurate ways to measure the pull weight. I guess it depends on application. I would not pay that for checking a hunting rifle trigger. 2.25-3lbs ehh close enough. For benchrest shooters and match applications...absolutely!

That’s interesting, and expensive. I don’t really need that level of accuracy but thanks for the info.
