So I have a Wilson Combat Spec-ops 9. I bought it in 2011 and it’s been pretty much a safe queen. Right after I bought it Wilson Combat discontinued it. Apparently it required lots of hand fitting the steel rails on the polymer frame and according to Wilson it was “just too expensive to build.” So for the first time in their history they cancelled existing back orders and pledged to to continue to service the gun and keep parts on hand.
I think only a few hundred, maybe only a couple of hundred, were sold.
I really like the gun. Lightweight double-stack 9 in 1911 platform. Great carry gun.
I have only fired a few mags through it and I was considering making it my carry gun.
Then I saw this ad below...

WTF?? I really don’t want to carry a gun that is worth anything near this money!
