I had a 1000 long ago. Probably the most comfortable (across the board) bike I've ever ridden.
Loved it and raced it. The engine is the same as the more more sporty bikes with smaller carbs and cam. But parts are plentiful and interchange with many models.

Overall one of the best all round bikes made. IMHO

I did a 450 mile day on it a few weeks ago and never felt even the slightest bit sore.

I got on it today for the first time and rode it like I had been riding it for years. I like the little dragon sticker but I doubt I will ever ride the actual dragon. Well maybe one day.

Yeah......not gonna happen. I'm too old to play around like that. I prefer if at all possible to keep em shiny side up and both tires on the asphalt.

Three evil things mother nature throws at ya are Love bugs in Florida, June bugs and Carpenter bees here..June bugs and Carpenter bees will damn near knock you over at a high rate of speed..The worst is the love bugs in South Florida, you get into a swarm of them...You will spend days cleaning both yourself and your scooter off. Ride safe Brother and never, never get complacent or overconfident riding..Enjoy!
