If the brace = stock rule gets overturned

If you have a tax free NFA registration of an SBR with your pistol brace, I would keep that forever and welcome the opportunity to use real shoulder stocks on your pistol upper or short-barreled rifle.

You mean, people acquiesced and registered guns? I hope they don’t. Hopefully the people that “took advantage of not getting taxed on their rights” learned a lesson.

I went through this 30 years ago and I registered my Street Sweeper as a destructive device,
Bobbed the barrel down to 12 inches,
and made it a much better gun than it was in the sporting version.

I could take it out to the shooting range without fear of being busted for being in felony possession of an unregistered NFA weapon.

Later I sold it for considerably more than I paid for it!

These were $300 guns before the feds
re-classified them as destructive devices. Now look what they're selling for.
