If the brace = stock rule gets overturned

I went through this 30 years ago and I registered my Street Sweeper as a destructive device,
Bobbed the barrel down to 12 inches,
and made it a much better gun than it was in the sporting version.

I could take it out to the shooting range without fear of being busted for being in felony possession of an unregistered NFA weapon.

Later I sold it for considerably more than I paid for it!

These were $300 guns before the feds
re-classified them as destructive devices. Now look what they're selling for.

I can't imagine paying more than $50 for one of those.
 
No they will not cancel them when this is ultimately overturned. You will note on your approved form 1 that they are awarded as tax stamp exempt pursuant to ATF final rule 2021R-08F. There is no physical tax stamp as these are considered tax stamp exempt. In the event the rule is overturned the Form 1's will not be invalidated. They are processed and approved just as any other Form 1, there is no retroactive unapproving of a Form 1.
