Might catch a civil case. Then it's going to take an eternity if you get selected. Sitting as a witness is bad enough.

I was chosen to sit a term (3 months) on grand jury. I kinda enjoyed it as it gave me a break from my regular job. All we did was decide if cases were worth sending to a court or not(I dont know the the term for it)
I think I aggravated several other jurors by mostly voting against. It was 3days the 1st month and 2 days each the following months.
