I agree, I own three and they are great as long as you don't expect them to be something they're not.

The only Kel tec I own is the Sub 2K in 9mm. Surprising rifle, when you take into account that it looks like it should have "MADE BY MATTEL" on the side. More accurate than I thought, and have had few problems with it. Never shot or owned a Kel tec pistol, but I know several people who own them and believe they are great.

They are innovative, I will give them that. Not the prettiest things around but no the ugliest either. I think they have done well to carve out a niche in the saturated gun market.

I think they fill a niche that the other gun manufacturers have ignored, for that I think they are great - their pistols are no frills but gets the job done, their rifles are ingenious - the sub2000 and SU-16c satisfy a function that few other traditional rifle can.

I don't think their pistols are as ugly as Hi-Points. I do like the trigger of the PF-9 for a DAO though

I have the p11. Havent shot it enough yet to give a 100% opinion, but i will agree that the trigger pull is long.

they are great gun's for the money. i've owned the pmr30,p3at,p32, and a su16b they all did fine.
