Land Rover

Had a '95 and a '04 - both Disco's. Absolutely loved them - certainly a love/hate relationship. Let us know what year you're looking for and I'll keep my eyes open.

Looking for any Discovery 2 model, so I guess that's '99 through '04.

Holding out for a SE7, dark green, light green or tan...

You know I totally missed where you said D2 in your first post - sorry! I'll keep my eyes open. Maybe the guy who bought my '04 has blown the engine already - he didn't seem like the type that was going to keep the maintenance up.

There was one that came throughout the scrap yard a while back.
The body was in great shape, as was the interior. Silver/gray
All the glass was good. It even had descent tires.
I think it was a motor or trans. problem.

I think a salvage yard in Covington bought it.

I think I know somebody that has a 99 SE7 Dark green but its not for sale.

I have a 97 F-150. My best friend has a 97 Discovery. New he paid twice as much as my f-150. Today with comparable mileage (and his two engine rebuilds), his Discovery is worth half my F-150.

Some of the 04 maybe 05s actually had ford engines in them because at the time ford owned L/R. The old buick engines have a flaw in the way the cylinders were sleeved that's why you never let one run hot. Discoverys were meant to have diesel engines.
