Let’s talk about custom hunting rifles

I went with a really slick Cooper 300wm for my first higher end hunting rifle. The rifle is amazing but it weighs about 37 pounds. I’m ready for a lightweight rifle.

Anyone have a Mcwhorter? Been dreaming about one.

all the older mcwhorter rifles I’ve seen shoot very well I’d go with flat creek rifles the new company Tim mcwhorter started the other company in Doerun just bought the name he made famous by his work.

I only have a couple of custom rifles, but have several that have been customized. It's a lot less expensive and you can still get everything you want. There are several very good smiths that do customization of your existing rifle.
