Yeah I do wish there was more to it but that was it . One of those things where I doubt I’ll ever know what happened and by who.

Ha! The AK47 is the only one that completely failed. So much for the myth of the AKs superior penetration.
Dude is using mild steel core with all the rounds except the x39 . He was using friggin Tula . . Not very even testing . Try the same test with Chinese steel core and you will get some results worth noting . Nice try though. Good effort
Having used both in actual Combat, if my only choice was between the two and nothing else, I'd have to say the AK, it's crude, rude, built to beat the tracks off a T34 Tank. Filthy/Clean, makes no difference, perfect for what it was intended to do.
