Of course finding a Marlin that still has the the factory one attached is part of the fun. I've personally have wore Numrich out buying those and the round ones are especially expensive if you can find them... I know I just bought 2.... Ugh !!!
After spending weeks looking for an original replacement at a reasonable price, Thad at Tiger Mtn. gave me a cosmetically challenged hood. So, I cleaned it up , cold blued it, and put it on my now complete 39 Mountie. Now I've removed it so my old eyes can see the front sight better.

Are the sights different than the old 336 sights? If not, I probably have a set you can have GadgetsrfunLooks like ya need a new base too !!!
