Our book keeper came in this AM with a notice from the Dept of Justice for the seizure of a rifle.

Her husband sold it 22 years ago, it was seized from a home in West Ga early last month.....

You are on the right end of it - so it seems. It sux but hopefully it does get back to the original owner and no major crimes we’re committed with it.
I would hate to get told one of my favorites was used to murder or assault someone - of course i would not want it back - I wouldn’t think
