Thanks, been a fun budget build. When I drove to NM to pick it up from my little brother, I decided the little 4runner had had a hard enough life. It was time to restore it and make it a driver. It’s spent all the time it needed on trails from SC, AZ, and NM and still started after sitting 3 years. It’s getting close to completion, but I still may go back to retro white disc wheels.

Good on you to keep it on the road. Those old Toyotas as you know were over engineered/built as they were entering a already established truck market in the USA. And they showed out with that little 4 cylinder work horse.

Lots of work, and researching to find the right people to do the job. More work to find people who can do the job well and at a good price.

Shop in Chattanooga off Roseville blvd. Looks like a mini Toyota junkyard. Guy does really good work, but takes forever. Price is extremely reasonable though.
