Starting March first private sales will be subjected to a new tax. Basically, they took the savings you had from buying from a private seller and gave dealers an advantage. it's business and government going together again to rip us!

It starts the first of March at over six percent and will go up over time.

Areant you already supposed to be paying an 8% tax rate on all items purchased over the internet that were not assessed Georgia sales tax? I wonder how that's working out.

Its a vehicle registration fee. Calm down now, do some research. Its currently 6% but does away with the yearly ad valorem tax. Its better for people who keep their vehicles over 1 year.
