New truck question...

I have the 2018 Silverado Z71 crew can, 2.75” lift, skid plates, etc... love it, very capable truck.

That said, if I had to get a new one, the LT TrailBoss, without a doubt.

I looked at both and my trade was a 2015 Z71 4wd crew LTZ. Something about the new body style gave me pause, so I went with the 18, which was basically identical to my trade... except the 160,000++ miles. Lol

I love the new body style of the 19, plus it comes lifted, more clearance, more room inside and 500lbs lighter, dual outlet exhaust, etc...

If your ever going to hook a trailer to it, buy a Ford or a Dodge. If your going to make an occasional run to Home Depot and want a truck but want it to ride like a car, buy a Chevy. If you are going to put a rainbow flag on it and buy groceries, buy a Toyota.

When I was in the market for a new truck I asked a friend who has a transmission shop and been building them for 30+ years what he thought. The answer was Dodge. He works on alot of Chevy and Fords but few Dodge trucks. I bought a Dodge 4x4 Hemi crew cab and have owned it about 10yrs and it has been problem free.
